You've attacked Myrdal, you've attacked Warsh, you've attacked Keynes, but you've not named anything that would justify Hayek's fame based on his contributions to economics. Your method is to write a hit piece in the comments, the same thing you claim Warsh did. At least he addressed Hayek's actual contributions to economics. The truth is, you don't object to the methods, you just want the hacks to be on your side.

In fact, everything you've written is related to politics rather than economics, which sort of makes my point. If you agree with his politics, fine, but don't pretend that is economics.

As for Keynes and Myrdal being advocates of eugenics, that's shameful, and an example of how wrong-headed people can be once they are outside their area of expertise. Which might also explain why Hayek got the history of fascism's rise so wrong -- he was not a historian, and was outside his area of expertise.Booksellers versus Bestsellershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03146868037718518596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7137314056817048755.post-10529293201778704942011-12-10T10:34:06.546-08:002011-12-10T10:34:06.546-08:00Gunnar Myrdal was was the brains behind the policy...Gunnar Myrdal was was the brains behind the policy of the forced sterilization of the "hereditarily deficition" in Sweden _and_ also an architect of the Swedish social democratic state.
